Everything in Foundry and Databricks that calls a model does it through an endpoint URL, and both platforms let you set that URL. Smartflow exposes one OpenAI-compatible endpoint and supports Azure OpenAI resources behind it. Point the Foundry project or the Databricks external-model config at Smartflow, issue per-team keys, done. No SDK changes.

Agent 365 governs Microsoft. You govern everything.

Agent 365 governs Microsoft’s own agent surface. Smartflow governs every surface, including Microsoft, under one policy. When your teams build agents in Copilot Studio or Foundry, those agents call tools, actions, and external APIs. Those calls route through Smartflow: identity-bound policy, a deterministic deny on destructive actions, and full telemetry on what the agents actually do.

The Copilot answer, said plainly

You cannot intercept or rewrite the M365 Copilot fat client’s model calls. It talks directly to Microsoft’s backend, and nobody can sit in that path. What Smartflow does instead: endpoint-level redaction and action blocking where a hook exists, and store-and-forward so Copilot activity lands in the same identity-bound audit record as everything else. The fat client is the past. The agents are the future, and that is where the control lives.
